With the effect of Bağdat street, the area is full of people who come together and share. However, the train line has limited the contact the area with the street and weakened its connection to it. One of the most appropriate spot along the line to touch upon this problem is Bostancı with its unique position as a central hub for several transportation alternatives and high density of people passing through the area.

When we analyze the profile of the people in the area, we can find people in every age group.

When you get off the train and reach to the exit stated below, actually you come across to a place where you have two ways to go. On the left, you arrive to an area with a potential of a nice square, but the loose connection with the coast line does not allow its potential to be utilized. On the right, you see an old bridge built over a stream. However, there is another way which forces you to get to a third transition in order to reach the bridge and some other places.

Therefore, the main function of the project thought for the area is the provision of the transitions. The functions linked to the project supporting the transitions and helping the utilization of the potential of the area are: the shops, the fitness center, the tiny kiosks and the restaurant-bar.

The lines are created in order to control the movement, the transition and the data in these various directions in the field. The transitions are formed with the;

ascending-descending

lengthening-shortening

thickening-slimming of the lines according to the data of the area and the function of the lines.
